1st Time Buyer t was late afternoon and wanted fish. Well, they had sold out of their famous greens, so I had fried okra instead along with fried flounder. The fish was well-seasoned to my liking and fried just right. The lady who took my order promised I would be back. Why it took so long to go there, I don't know?!! Yes, it was that good! Great service and food! Trust me...I will be back!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We live on the coast of NC where fresh seafood is abundant but Flavor is lacking so guess what we did. We drove an hour and thirty minutes to Ayden NC and drove back home not disappointed at all. We ordered two Flounder and Shrimp with hushpuppies combination plates that comes with 2 sides and sweet tea (sweeet). Our choice of sides fried Okra, green beans, fries and coleslaw. Customer service was pleasant and friendly. Now down to business the crunch on the fish and shrimp was second to none excellent the breading full of flavor. Portions I would consider extra large.
Food was Delicious! Ordered Flounder plate with sweet tea, corn, Fries and hushpuppies! The wait time was long, but I was comfortable on the porch with the ceiling fans. The food was Hot when I got it. They give you a ticket and have to call your number to get food. They do not take credit or debit cards.. Only Cash, Cashapp or Applepay. They have parking, but so many people was there for their good food, I had to park on the street, which was okay. So, I have a new place to gp for seafood!
This was the first time I ate at this place. Very friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious. I am a very pickie eater. They had fried crabs on today.
